Introducing The Holiday Card Project, benefiting patients at Children's Hospital Colorado:
- The Association of Volunteers sponsors an annual Holiday Card Project to benefit children undergoing treatment. The project is made possible through the generous sponsorship of community businesses throughout Metro Denver.
- The Holiday Card Project offers an opportunity for patients aged 6-18 to express their creativity as budding artists while undergoing treatment.
- Artists have been or are currently receiving treatment in one of the following medical lines of service: Breathing Institute, Burn Center, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Kidney Center, Mental Health, Neurosurgery, Oncology, and Orthopedics.
- Holiday cards and gifts are sold during the holiday season, with proceeds used to enrich and support the Patient Family Experience at Children's Hospital Colorado.
